The snow came in a big white blanket. It covered up some of the memories.
I had come home to recover. The snow can be so cold sometimes. And a
guitar can be your only friend. It falls from the sky so hopelessly. When you
feel the loneliness in the snowflakes. It makes things further out of reach. It
only makes things colder, so much colder. Things are so much colder now.
Staring through the flames in the fireplace. I can see my mother in me. And
I think of how I never turned out the right way. It is so sad to watch the
movie played in reverse. Sleep little child and rest without fear. Know that
I am always near. Calm your heart, it is beating itself to death. I try so hard

hard just to see you. And now the candles are burning low. The snow is
leaving just as it came. We are left with a new world. And I'm not quite
sure I fit into it.
